This paper describes the ‘My Plan’ non-directive coaching approach.
'My Plan' is a weekly group conversation developed for a group of low-skilled workers on a course of Dutch at the workplace.
My Plan adapts the GROW model of coaching to help learners become more aware of their motivation and goals, to develop confidence and to take ownership of their own learning.
This is the English version of a paper that appeared in Italian in the publication: Braddell A. and Grünhage-Monetti M. (eds) (2018), I Quaderni della Ricerca 40. Lingua e lavoro, Loescher Editore, Bologna.
