NRDC for NALA* (2011), Literature review of international adult literacy policies, NALA, Dublin.

Literature review focusing on research from 1990 to 2010 and identifies specific policy developments and interventions aimed at people with literacy and basic skill needs from eight countries: Australia, Canada, Finland, New Zealand, Scotland, Sweden, England and USA. The review covers national perspectives, cross-cutting themes, and key messages for adult literacy policy development in Ireland.
