International adult literacy policies (2011)

 

NRDC for NALA* (2011), Literature Review of International Adult Literacy Policies. Dublin: NALA

Literature review focusing on research from 1990 to 2010 and identifies specific policy developments and interventions aimed at people with literacy and basic skill needs from eight countries: Australia, Canada, Finland, New Zealand, Scotland, Sweden, England and USA. The review covers national perspectives, cross-cutting themes, and key messages for adult literacy policy development in Ireland.
